Abortion They Say is a " Woman's Choice"

A choice made

For the happiness of others

Wrong and painful

And no one understands

Shrugs of concern

Regret keeping your eyes wide

During the cold and darker nights

Spilling tears

Showering down your cheeks

Wishing for a clock

To return to that regretful day

To take back  the choice

To scream Stop

To stop what's gone

To stop the lies

The deception of humans

To release the bloody anguish

All the remains in your memory

Weeks of love

Kicking and future

Slaughtered and lost in minutes of pain

But all that remains is your torture

Hiding from your death

Before your time is up

But the choice being made

No chance for a tiny child

Unborn

Unnamed

Loved and loving

But never deserved

Regret from day one

And pain after the fact

Worse than ever imagined

Changing your opinion

In a minute

A day lost in infamy

Never forgotten

But wishing to forget

Wishing to take back

Anger surrounding a darkening life

Spilling and splashing

To the non understanding

Caring but not feeling

Not understanding the pain inside

The regret which forever haunts

Your lifeless character

Little hopes

Forgetting to ring its tiny bell

Never forgetting

Never not regretting

And no one understanding

A WOMANS CHOICE

A womans choice they call it
But it just doesnt seem true
When those around you pressured you
To carry that choice through

A womans choice they call it
You should feel so liberated
So why instead the heartache
And this great sense of self-hatred

A womans choice they call it
And its true a choice was made
But did you really have the choice
When none other before you was laid

A womans choice they call it
Into a corner you were backed
Youre Like a bear gnawing off his leg
To escape a hunters trap

A womans choice they call it
But someone else had no choice
The child who died inside you
When that choice drowned out his voice

A womans choice they call it
And heres another womans choice:
I choose to be a supportive ear
If you choose to talk about
Your choice

The following is a poem by a girl in New Zealand, her friend had an abortion.

Here is a poem i wrote for my friends baby and her.:

'Hello baby boy your mummy loves you,   she didnt mean to take away your first breath, and your first step, please forgive your mummy for she knew no better , she had no-one to turn to, no-one to care, she took your life away that day not knowing you were awake, your little beating heart stopped and your growing body torn , her heart broke too you know, when she took you home baby boy, she placed you in the cold earth not the place you thought you'd be, and she cried every night , and dreamed of you, see the impression you had and you weren't even born!, a special little name you were given Tristan how cute is that?, so as you look down on us from heaven know you were loved, i didn't even know you but i too am sad, but i know you are up there holding Gods hand, your mummy loves you Tristan, never forget, for you hold a special place in my heart as well as your mums, May God Hold you and Keep you well baby boy, Until I meet you on judgement day Tristan I love you always...'
